Food Pantry

EBOL’s Food Pantry is a beacon of light in the heart of one of Washington, D.C.'s food deserts. Nestled in the vibrant Brightwood section of the city, our pantry serves as a vital resource for individuals and families facing food insecurity.

With a mission to alleviate hunger and promote a healthier community, EBOL offers a diverse array of fresh produce, pantry staples, and nourishing meals. Beyond providing sustenance, our dedicated team of volunteers aim to create a warm and welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and cared for.

Join us in the fight against hunger. This is more than just a food pantry; it's a community-driven initiative striving to make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve. Together, let's cultivate a brighter, healthier future for Brightwood and beyond.

____________

Open every Tuesday from 12pm to 2pm, our food pantry supplies food to more than 1,900 families and individuals annually. Each Thanksgiving we prepare more than 250 baskets for families in the Brightwood area and beyond. Food donations come from the Capitol Area Food Bank, members of the Emory Fellowship and private donors.
